Open Enrollment is held each year so eligible employees can make adjustments to their health plans. During Open Enrollment, you can:

** Select a different medical plan
** Add or delete dependents
** Enroll yourself for coverage
** Waive coverage

Open Enrollment is typically held in the Spring for a July 1 effective date. Watch for notices as Open Enrollment approaches!

Note that certain qualifying life events (such a marriage, divorce, birth of a child, adoption, or loss of other coverage) allow you to adjust your benefit elections. To be eligible for this special enrollment opportunity, you must request the change within 30 days (60 days for birth of a child) of the qualifying event; contact the Benefits Office for details.
