Our District medical and prescription plans are offered through Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (BCBSNJ). Delta Dental is our dental carrier. The District also offers a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Opt-Out Option to eligible employees. Below is information and news for the plans available to eligible employees.

Update from Horizon BCBSNJ: Humira Biosimilar Medicines Now Covered
Effective July 1, 2023, Horizon BCBSNJ is covering medically necessary biosimilar medications that are equivalent to Humira. These include Amjevita, Cyletzo, and Hadlima; as with Humira, these medications require prior authorization. Humira will continue to be covered as appropriate. Questions?
